A quiet cabin in the woods, surrounded by your own spacious fenced yard, guarantees you can just peace out during your vacation. It’s a quick and easy, 5 mile drive, to the quaint and lively mountain town of Brevard, North Carolina. Enjoy the many fine dining restaurants, shops, craft breweries and grocery stores and other amenities while there. And, if you need some city life, Asheville is a short 45 minutes away.

If you and the pups are here for the great hiking and outdoor activities, we are smack dab in the middle of all that. DuPont State Forest and it’s world class trails, mountain biking, horseback riding and trout fishing, is just a 10 minute drive from DogWoods Retreat. At the end of a lovely day, spend your evening under the stars relaxing in your hot tub.

Optional dog training sessions and dog care, in your cabin, are also available during your stay. Nan Long, is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, and is happy to help you get a new “leash on life” during your stay.
