White Squirrel II

Legend has it, in 1949 a carnival truck carrying two white squirrels overturned in Transylvania County. They escaped, resulting in the many white squirrel sightings we have today, and, of course, the county mascot.

Brevard City Council even voted on an ordinance to protect them, and there is an annual White Squirrel Festival held on Memorial Day weekend that was recognized by the Southeast Tourism Society as one of the Top 20 May festivals.

A sunrise over a mountain with the traditional crowing of a rooster is a part of the morning at White Squirrel cabin.  Look out for deer frolicking in the forest as well.

The master bedroom is outfitted with a king-size, gel-infused, posturepedic mattress, and there is plenty of storage space for personal belongings.

There is also a master bath with a walk-in shower and large vanity with a granite countertop for your comfort.

Downstairs, the second bedroom is complete with a queen-size, gel-infused memory-foam mattress, and there is an additional full bathroom with a shower, tub and a granite-topped vanity.

The dining room is accommodated with an eco-friendly, mango-wood table and chairs where the family can dine as the dogs run and play throughout the spacious, fenced-in yard!
