Spring wildflowers are in full bloom at DogWoods Retreat check out this rare pink lady slipper!!! The forest is covered with Mountain Laurels and there beautiful blooms every where you look!

One sign that spring is back is the return of our local cows with their calves and the resident donkey.  We enjoy nothing more than the morning spring sounds in the air from our song birds, local roosters, cows and donkey. There’s nothing more beautiful than a misty morning walk in the forest! Since we are green, Nan will have to gear up for some more natural weed control!

We enjoyed a foot of powdery white snow winter fun with some guests lately.  Made for great chase and digging games for the dogs and snowmen, snow balls and sledding for their people!
