With a name inspired by the abundance of fireflies hovering throughout the trees surrounding DogWoods Retreat, Firefly cabin sits within one of the last remaining habitats of the Blue Ghost fireflies.

Named for their continuous emission of abioluminescent, blue glow that appears as orbs in the night, they mystify the area with their presence from mid-May to mid-June, and may be spotted along the roadways and creek at DogWoods Retreat.

Inside the cabin awaits a master bedroom with a king-size, gel-infused, posturepedic mattress and a flat screen television, located in the loft area, for downtime before bed.

There’s plenty of storage space, and a deluxe master bathroom with a walk-in shower and large vanity with a granite countertop.

In the second bedroom is a queen-size bed with amemory-foam mattress, and a bathroom with a shower, tub and a granite-topped vanity.

The dining room is accommodated with an eco-friendly, mango-wood table and chairs where everyone can gather while the pups explore the fenced-in miniature forest with its own wide range of wild smells and sounds.
